This is a closer view of a typical Zebrawood bowl. This wood comes from Africa, is relatively easy to obtain and moderately expensive. I've probably sold more of these bowls than any other type of wood. I usually have several in inventory.

This bowl is made from Macassar ebony with a double band of pure
silver. Macassar ebony is considered by many to be among the worlds
most beautiful woods. It is rare, and very expensive. I have several in inventory as of August, 2010. I have enough material to make perhaps 4 more. I have been looking for several years for more material, but have not found it.
